Description of Search

 

This is a search of on-line collections on the LBJ Website, with the exception of related material audio-visual materials, oral history transcripts, and the descriptions of President Johnson's recorded telephone conversations which can be searched below. It includes samples of President Johnson's Daily Diary, National Security Action Memoranda, and selected LBJ speeches and messages.

 

Search and download close to 1000 selected public domain photographs from the Audiovisual Archives.

 

 

President Johnson recorded many of his telephone conversations; the archives staff is currently processing and opening the conversations. You can search the descriptions of the available recordings of conversations; the audio-recordings are not currently on-line. You must have Adobe Acrobat installed to view the results of your search.
