Join the Friends of the LBJ LibraryThe Friends of the LBJ Library is the organization that supports many of the activities of the LBJ Library and Museum which are not funded by the federal government. Friends of the LBJ Library is a subsidiary of the Lyndon Johnson Foundation. We invite you to become a member of the Friends of the LBJ Library and participate in the stimulating and educational experiences a membership affords. As a “Friend” you will be invited to attend the many events made possible by the Friends of the LBJ Library: preview receptions for major exhibitions; symposia and conferences; and the highly successful lecture series, “An Evening With...,” which features noted authors, politicians, columnists, statesmen and historians. Speakers have included William Bundy, Horace Busby, Joseph Califano, Ramsey Clark, David and Julie Nixon Eisenhower, John Kenneth Galbraith, Barry Goldwater, Ann Landers, David McCullough, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Charles Robb, Dean Rusk, Liz Smith and William Westmoreland. Sustaining members donate $200 or more annually and receive invitations to the annual Harry Middleton Lectureship in addition to the benefits listed above.
