Speakers have included William Bundy, Horace Busby, Joseph Califano, Ramsey Clark, David and Julie Nixon Eisenhower, John Kenneth Galbraith, Barry Goldwater, Ann Landers, David McCullough, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Charles Robb, Dean Rusk, Liz Smith and William Westmoreland.

Membership benefits include:

  • An invitation and free admission to the lecture series “An Evening With...”
  • The quarterly newsletter Among Friends of LBJ and monthly e-newsletter
  • An invitation to opening receptions for new exhibitions
  • Advance information on major symposia and other events
  • 15% discount on purchases made in the LBJ Museum Store
  • Free admission to all other presidential libraries (The LBJ Library is the only presidential library that does not charge admission.)

Sustaining members donate $200 or more annually and receive invitations to the annual Harry Middleton Lectureship in addition to the benefits listed above.
