History Fair Workshop

The Cen-Tex History Fair and the LBJ Library and Museum will conduct a FREE WORKSHOP for Teachers, Parents and Students.

How to Have a Successful History Day Project

If you have never participated in History Fair or if you have had winning projects, this workshop is for you.

There is construction around the LBJ Library and Thompson Center area. Enter the Thompson Center from the north side (Dean Keeton Street; the south side (LBJ Library) is fenced off. If you park in lots 39 or 40 there is a walk that leads directly to that north entrance.

The workshop will include:

•  Information about History Day
•  Selecting a topic
•  Conducting research
•  Presenting your project
•  Examples from past successful projects
•  Rules of the regional, state, and national fairs
