CAUTIONARY NOTE
Many of the transcripts of Oral Histories in the Johnson Library Oral
History Collection were originally typed on typewriters and were later
converted to digital files for the web. Other transcripts were prepared
in now obsolete word processing software and have been migrated forward
into currently used software. Pagination in the digital copies may vary
substantially from pagination in the original paper copy on file at the
Johnson Library or available by Interlibrary loan, and pagination may
vary slightly between obsolete and current digital files as the documents
are continually migrated forward into updated software.
When the transcripts which were originally typed on typewriters were converted to digital files, the LBJ Library staff discovered that the paper copies often contained minor misspellings and other typographical errors. Obvious typographical errors have been corrected in the digital files.
The Oral Histories have been placed on the LBJ Web Server and are available
for downloading in Adobe Acrobat format. In order to read these files you
should download a free copy of Acrobat Reader for your computer.
