The Scoop: Holiday shoppers can avoid “mall madness” and get a break on state sales taxes at the same time at the LBJ Library and Museum store’s tax-free shopping weekend on December 2nd and 3rd.

The store carries a variety of unique items to help shoppers whittle down their holiday gift lists. Visitors can choose from limited edition hand-painted glass Christmas ornaments as well as White House dessert plates. In addition to original campaign memorabilia, avid collectors can choose from t-shirts, puzzles, note cubes and mouse pads imprinted with historic campaign buttons.
