Because of the national emergency, it has been decided by the Archivist of the United States and the Board of Directors of the LBJ Foundation to postpone the symposium on the "Future of Presidential Libraries" to a later date. The symposium is now set for November 26 and 27, 2001.
In addition, it was jointly decided by LBJ Library Director Harry Middleton and Bill Moyers to postpone Moyers' scheduled appearance for the Seventh Annual Harry Middleton Lecture series. A new date for Mr. Moyers has not yet been scheduled.
The Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum will continue its regular operations and remains open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
